Senior Data Analyst, Referrals (m/f/x)

The role

As a Senior Data Analyst in the Referrals Analytics team, you'll play a key role in the Global Virality department. This team works on getting customers to share their HelloFresh experiences and recommend us to their friends. We aim to build a flexible referral program offering attractive deals to customers across the HelloFresh Group. The team is a hyper growth team which contribute to ~30% of the overall business globally.

In this job, you’ll provide important insights that help shape our Digital Product and Commercial strategies. You'll use data to spot trends and find new opportunities that guide our decisions. You'll also help create a data-driven culture in our team, making sure everyone can use data to make smart choices. Your skills in Data Analytics and related technologies, along with your strong communication and organizational abilities, will greatly influence our company’s success.

What you’ll do

• Provide cracking insights to optimize campaign targeting and efficiency of referral program promotions to customers
• Analyze customer data to identify pain points and opportunities in the customer journey, helping to determine customer segmentation and personalization strategies.
• Creating deep-dives and ad-hoc analysis, research, AB test analyses, reporting & visualization
• Utilize various databases and querying/programming languages to access, manipulate and present the data needed
• Improve how we look at Virality Analytics as a group, bringing key analytical insight to various levels across the organization
• Work with other analytics departments, driving cross-team collaboration, best practice sharing, and insight generation.

What you’ll bring

• 4+ years in a highly analytical role (bonus if you’ve worked in a Start-Up or in a high-growth environment)
• Advanced abilities in SQL and python, and the ability to use statistical modeling techniques for robust analysis.  
• A strong business acumen and can translate insights into actionable recommendations that align with business objectives
• Expertise in data visualization and data storytelling, including experience with dashboarding tools (Tableau preferred)
• Experience working with a range of business stakeholders and communicating technical results in business language
• A BS in computer science, mathematics, economics, statistics, engineering, or similar program
