Key Responsibilities (What You Are Doing)
- Lead analytics projects across advertising products, contributing to analytics, data visualization, architecture, and strategic initiatives.
- Perform ad hoc and deep-dive analyses to support decision-making and uncover product opportunities.
- Translate complex data into clear, concise insights for stakeholders across product, engineering, sales, and strategy teams.
- Partner with engineering teams to shape and improve data architecture and ensure scalable, reliable pipelines.
- Support A/B testing by analyzing results and recommending actions to improve product performance.
- Design and develop dashboards and data visualizations to guide key business decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data efforts with strategic goals.
- Prioritize tasks effectively and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Qualifications (What We’re Looking For)
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in Product Analytics or related role.
- Preferred experience in the media/publishing industry with its unique audience data challenges and opportunities.
- Preferred strong understanding of market research and competitive intelligence.
- Preferred excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Hands-on experience with cloud data warehousing platforms (e.g. Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Azure).
- Familiarity with Python or R for advanced data analysis.
- Knowledge of data governance practices and data management best practices.
- This is a hybrid position based in New York City, with an in-office requirement of four days per week.

The base salary for this role is between $149,000 - $181,000. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
