About the Team…

The Enterprise Integrations and Automations team is responsible for the ownership, delivery, and management of our integrations platform, services, and core APIs. These components serve as the backbone for connecting systems and ensuring data and business processes intersect seamlessly across our enterprise applications landscape.

We are seeking an experienced Integrations and Automations Architect to join our team and lead our integration/automation efforts end-to-end. The ideal candidate will play a key role in contributing to Integration strategies and architecting robust, scalable integration solutions and actively contributing to organizational strategic initiatives. This is a hands-on role and the candidate should be willing to run projects from discovery phase to hypercare with a full ownership of architecture and design. Additionally, the candidate should possess strong leadership and mentoring skills to support our extended team of integration engineers in delivering high-quality products within specified timelines.

In this role you will…

Architecture and Solutions Design:

  • Evaluate and recommend appropriate integration patterns, tools and technologies based on requirements, volume of data, trigger criteria, latency expectations etc. 
  • Create architectural blueprints for integrating business critical SaaS applications (e.g, ERP, CRM, CMS).
  • Build prototypes and assist integration engineers and citizen integrators in critical initiatives. 

Technical Skills:

  • Utilize integration and automation platforms like Workato and other tool sets that are relevant for the initiative. 
  • Leverage cloud platforms (AWS, Azure and Google Cloud) for seamless integrations 
  • Design and implement Event driven workflows
  • Design and develop core APIs 
  • Manage and maintain CI/CD deployment pipelines for integrations and also develop integrations catalog. 
  • Document current and future integration process flow diagrams 
  • Conduct integrations and automations maturity assessment and propose improvements to existing development, change/release processes
  • Implement governance frameworks around data in motion and also at the integration platform level
  • Lead design and architecture reviews for all integration efforts/projects
  • Identify and mature best practices for API-led integrations, event based integrations, automated testing, release strategies and critical operational support

Cross Functional Collaboration

  • Influence outcomes in cross functional settings
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders while providing guidance and advice

Team Leadership and Project Management 

  • Mentor fellow or junior integration resources in technical discovery, delivery, process analysis and improvement. 
  • Timely review of projects and tasks in Jira and keep the status updated in a timely manner. 
  • Participate in scrum ceremonies and breakdown integration projects to agile approach. 
  • Understand and adapt the intake process and other project management processes
  • Deliver and prioritize assigned projects with clear scope effectively

Communication 

  •  Effectively communicate to senior leadership as and when necessary

What's Required 

  • 8+ years of experience in integration architect and engineering role ideally with an enterprise SaaS software model company.
  • 3+ years of architecting end to end integration/automation experience
  • Ability to evaluate Integration Design/Architecture patterns (Event Driven, Microservices, point to point,  pub-sub, Data Synchronization, Hub-Spoke etc) 
  • Proficiency in iPaaS tools Workato, Boomi, Mulesoft etc), cloud platforms, APIs / Web Services, Integration technologies (REST, SOAP , JSON, XML etc) 
  • ETL / ELT and Reverse ETL pipelines, Data transformation with proficiency in SQL
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to decode, simplify and explain complex problems to different audiences
  • Experience in Business Process Automations, Application integrations, Data Integrations, User Experience integrations
  • Mentoring ability of fellow engineers and influencing outcomes in Cross-Functional setting
  • Experience in leading end to end integration projects in an Agile environment

What's nice to have

  • Experience in a technology-driven organization utilizing a comprehensive suite of SaaS applications such as Salesforce (SFDC), NetSuite, Workday, Coupa, Concur, Ironclad, Snowflake and Gainsight.
  • Experience in programming languages Java, Python, Ruby etc.
  • Visualization and data presentation ability
  • Understand Enterprise architecture principles and guidelines
  • Knowledge in Dev-Ops processes and Tools (CI/CD, GitHub, Jenkins etc)
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including negotiation, collaboration, and conflict resolution, are valuable for managing cross-functional teams and stakeholder relationships.

Individual pay within the range will be determined based on job related-factors such as skills, experience, and education or training.

The base pay range for this role in the SF Bay Area / NYC area is:
$142,800$168,000 USD
The base pay range for this role in Seattle Metro, Denver / Boulder Metro, New York (excluding NYC), Washington D.C., or California (excluding SF Bay Area) is:
$130,900$154,000 USD
The base pay range for this role in Colorado (excluding Denver / Boulder Metro) and Washington (excluding Seattle Metro) is:
$119,000$140,000 USD
