Our Team

The HashiCorp Infrastructure Engineering team is dedicated to managing and optimizing infrastructure components critical to our operations, including DNS, CDN, Artifactory, base images, and our own HashiStack. This team plays a crucial role in ensuring our infrastructure is efficient, secure, and scalable, supporting HashiCorp's growth and our ability to deliver innovative solutions. Collaborating closely with both product and engineering teams, the Infrastructure Engineering team leads efforts to streamline our infrastructure operations and maintain high availability and reliability.

 

About this Role

As an Engineering Manager for the Infrastructure team, you will lead a team responsible for the core infrastructure components essential to HashiCorp's operations. This role involves strategic planning, hands-on management, and collaboration across teams to ensure our infrastructure supports our current needs and future growth.

 

In this role, you can expect to:

  • Have 8+ years of total experience, with at least 1+ year in a management role, ideally within an infrastructure-focused team.
  • Oversee the management and optimization of infrastructure components such as DNS, CDN, Artifactory, base images, and the HashiStack.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, focusing on scalability, security, and efficiency of our infrastructure.
  • Develop strategies that enhance the reliability and performance of our infrastructure, ensuring high availability and seamless deployment processes.
  • Mentor and guide a team of infrastructure engineers and SREs, promoting professional development and collaborative problem-solving.
  • Work closely with product and engineering teams to align infrastructure projects with broader organizational goals.
  • Drive initiatives that improve our infrastructure monitoring, issue resolution, and automation practices.
