Role:
- Work in a multi-disciplinary product development team including Designers & Project Managers to deliver deliver the products within cost budget, timeline target and quality standards.
- In Hasbro Gaming, we had a lot of FUN with CLASSIC games like Monopoly and Clue. ADULT COLLECTIBLE games including Heroquest and Talisman. Also including other games like Jenga, Bop It!, Pie Face and Fantastic Gymnastic. Our games bring family and friends together. To support our global sourcing strategy, we are looking for an additional resource to strengthen our capability on new product development and help our manufacturing partners for product debug.
- Gaming products consist of a wide range of components like paper gameboard, paper cards, boxes, plastic, wood, electronics, sand timer, dice etc. The successful candidate will have a broad range of knowledge on materials and manufacturing processes especially in paper products.
Key Responsibilities:
- With deep knowledge and experience in paper gameboard, paper cards, different style of paper box structures for gaming, also with knowledge in paper vanish and special treatment would be highly preferable to handle games product in team.
- With good knowledge and experience in handling small PVC miniatures for Adult Collectible Games products would be preferable.
- Evaluate product requirements and carry out feasibility study.
- Evaluate product development schedule and lead progress through issue of product specifications, product & tool Bill of Material (BOM).
- Provide cost-feature trade-off directions and determine tooling optimization.
- Develop mechanical structure and detailed designs.
- Liaise with multi-disciplinary team members, global colleagues and partners.
- Evaluate engineering pilot samples and provide modification directions.
Requirements
- Degree holder in Mechanical Engineering/ Manufacturing Engineering.
- 3 years+ experience in toy industry with product development experience.
- Experience in paper product & printing is an advantage.
- Good partnership and communication skills.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Innovative, passionate, initiative and adaptive.
