Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Staff/Principal Technical Product Manager to lead the development and enhancement of our technical products and solutions. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, sales, and marketing, to define product vision, prioritize features, and ensure successful product delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Product Strategy & Roadmap
    • Define and communicate the product vision and strategy.
    • Develop and maintain the product roadmap, aligning it with business objectives and stakeholder input.
    • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities.
  2. Stakeholder Collaboration
    • Collaborate with engineering teams to define technical requirements and ensure feasibility.
    • Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment.
    • Partner with UX/UI teams to deliver user-centered designs and experiences.
  3. Product Development
    • Write clear and detailed product requirements documents (PRDs).
    • Manage the product backlog, ensuring features are prioritized based on business value and technical feasibility.
    • Oversee the development lifecycle, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  4. Product Performance
    • Define success metrics and KPIs for product performance.
    • Monitor product performance and user feedback to inform iterative improvements.
    • Prepare and deliver regular updates to stakeholders on product progress and performance.
  5. Technical Expertise
    • Understand the technical architecture and infrastructure of the product.
    • Provide technical guidance and input to ensure optimal design and scalability.
    • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience (3–7+ years) in product management, preferably with technical products.
  • Strong understanding of software development processes, including Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Familiarity with APIs, cloud platforms, and modern software development practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership abilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and roadmapping software.
  • Knowledge of programming languages or frameworks (e.g., JavaScript, Python, or similar).
  • Data engineering & ETL, containers, autoscaling concepts, reserved instance strategies 
  • Understanding of cloud pricing models (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Familiarity with FinOps/DevOps practices and understanding of cost monitoring & optimization techniques/tools is a bonus
  • Proficiency in using Business Intelligence tools like Looker for analyzing data, creating dashboards, and deriving actionable insights.
  • Familiarity with generative AI advancements and tools in the ecosystem.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $180,000 - $225,000 annually. Salary is determined by a combination of factors including location, level, relevant experience, and skills. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.  The compensation package for this position may also include equity, and benefits.
