In this position

Hailo is looking to hire a motivated and skilled Software Application Engineer. As a Software Application Engineer, you will be a key technical figure within Hailo’s customer Success group. You will be involved in our top customer projects, working in various software languages on various platforms (X86, ARM, C++, Python).

This will include having an in-depth technical understanding of the Hailo products offering, as well as the supporting technologies (OpenCV, decoding, Vision, and more). You should be able to articulate customer needs to R&D, and Hailo products features to the customer and field. 

• Be an expert in Hailo’s products. Have a deep comprehension of the product features and product roadmap. 
• Create demo applications and examples to expedite Hailo’s customers to reach POC and commercial applications running on top of Hailo’s devices. 
• Help our customers in evaluation and development processes. 
• Work closely and collaborate with Hailo’s R&D and business group to conquer business milestones and work with Hailo’s product team to drive new product requirements. 

• BSc in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. Master's degree preferred.
• Demonstrated success in a software development environment (5+ years) 
• Deep technical knowledge of C++, Python, applications, and industry trends. 
• Experience at the solution level, with a strong understanding of HW & SW to debug issues, define solutions, and engage customers on their full AI system.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, executives, and cross-functional teams. 
• Results-oriented, with a focus on driving customer success, satisfaction.
• Innovative and creative, you proactively explore new ideas and adapt quickly to change.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites, industry events, and company offices as needed. 

• Prior experience with edge AI solutions and architectures.
• Prior experience with ML tools & coding languages.
• Understanding of the AI edge inferencing market and applications.
