THE OPPORTUNITY

We are hiring a TECH LEAD to our INTEGRATIONS team in BRAZIL! 

We are seeking a highly experienced Tech Lead to spearhead our Integrations team. This individual will be a hands-on leader, proficient in Golang, SFTP protocols, and public API design. You will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining seamless integrations with external systems, providing critical support to our Professional Services team, and guiding the technical growth of your team members.

YOUR IMPACT

  • Integrations Leadership:
  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of an SFTP and Public API for client's integrations with Wellhub.
  • Ensure efficient and reliable data exchange between our systems and external partners.
  • Troubleshoot integration issues and proactively identify opportunities for improvement
  • Technical Leadership:
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the integrations team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
  • Establish best practices for integration development, testing, and deployment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, Professional Services) to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Work in a collaborative and agile environment that prioritizes people over process and is laser-focused on productivity.
  • Professional Services Support:
  • Work closely with the Professional Services team to address technical inquiries, resolve customer issues, and provide expert support for integrations.
  • Contribute to the development of documentation, knowledge base articles, and training materials related to integrations.
  • Architecture & Design:
  • Define and implement the overall architecture for integrations, ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability.
  • Design and develop robust public APIs that adhere to industry standards and best practices.
  • Work with cutting-edge technologies and edge cases on a global scale.
  • Support existing systems looking to enhance functionality, increase scale, and transform in new ways to meet our product demands.
  • Stay informed of industry trends and emerging technologies in the integration space

WHO YOU ARE

Essential:

  • Proven experience as a Tech Lead or Senior Software Engineer with a focus on integrations;
  • In-depth knowledge of SFTP protocols and experience with API design and development;
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong customer service orientation;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders;
  • You're skilled in one or more programming languages, such as Go, Java, Kotlin, Python, etc., with an in-depth knowledge of Golang being a valuable plus. (memory allocation, CPU affinity, schedulers);
  • You have advanced English skills and can clearly articulate ideas when speaking to groups in English.

Desirable:

  • Experience with a variety of integration patterns (e.g., REST, SOAP, message queues);
  • Experience with API gateways and integration platforms;
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies;
  • You're an experienced backend engineer skilled in architecting large-scale multi-tier web applications with high availability and scalability;
  • You have extensive experience in designing and developing complex modern web applications;
  • You have prior work experience with cloud-based architectures, specifically AWS and GCP;
  • Experience in developing RESTful web services, working closely with front-end teams to create mocks, define payloads, and follow HTTP best practices;
  • You have experience applying computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithm design, problem-solving, and complexity analysis;
  • You have a background in working with SQL/NoSQL technologies, such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and DynamoDB, and possess a deep understanding of their everyday use cases and performance pitfalls;
  • Communication skills that enable you to work effectively with diverse teams located across different countries;
