What You Will Do:

• Help translate complex business requirements into technical designs and solutions using .

• Lead the development of applications, ensuring alignment with business objectives and best practices.

• Provide technical expertise and guidance to other developers.

• Develop, configure, and enhance applications.

• Stay current with products, features, and industry trends to drive innovation.

• Conduct technical assessments and provide recommendations for improving existing implementations.

• Conduct reviews of functionality developed by development team and perform unit, system, and integration testing.

• Debug and fix technical problems.

• Support the development of detailed technical and functional documentation.

• Provide demonstrations of developed applications to product owners and end users.

• Participate in platform upgrade activities, including regression testing and reconfiguration.

• Ensure the security, scalability, and maintainability of solutions.

What You Will Need:

• Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a DHS "PUBLIC TRUST" or "SECRET" security clearance; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of clearance prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE DHS PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.

• Minimum of FOUR (4) years of professional experience.

• Bachelor's Degree (Computer Science, Information Technology or Business is preferred)

• certifications: CSA, CIS, or CAD is preferred

• Ability to commute to client or corporate offices within the Washington, DC metropolitan area 2-3 days per week.

• Experience with Software Development Lifecycle methodologies, deliverables, and controls.

• Expertise in Modules such as GRC, SPM, and ITSM, as well as with App Engine and Scoped Apps.

• Experience with web services integration, specifically Mid-Server, SOAP, and REST, preferred.

• Strong experience with scripting (JavaScript, Glide, AngularJS), Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub.

• Experience with Software Development Lifecycle methodologies, deliverables, and controls.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and establish rapport with a diverse array of people at all levels.

What Would Be Nice To Have:

• Experience working in an Agile environment.

• Experience with web services integration, specifically Mid-Server, SOAP, and REST preferred.

• Agile, SCRUM or SAFe certifications.

• General understanding of financial management aspects (i.e., financial operations, financial innovation, internal control, risk management, etc.), particularly in a federal environment.
