We are looking for a Senior AI Platform Engineer to join the core team powering our AI platform and agent infrastructure. In this role, you will build the foundational systems, runtimes, and developer tools that enable 100+ engineers across the company to build and scale production-grade AI applications.

We need a pragmatic, high-impact builder who takes complete ownership of the engineering lifecycle. You will conduct research, design resilient architectures, write clean backend code, and manage cloud infrastructure to ship features that handle real load, scale, and production traffic.

Responsibilities

• Build Core AI Infrastructure: Own and evolve our core AI platform, agent runtimes, and developer tooling using TypeScript (NestJS), Python, and cutting-edge AI frameworks.
• End-to-End Delivery: Take platform initiatives from blank-page research to architectural planning, hands-on execution, deployment, and production monitoring.
• Enable 100+ Engineers: Build standardized developer tools, APIs, and infrastructure that make shipping AI applications seamless, secure, and reliable for engineering teams company-wide.
• Scale & Observability: Design event-driven architectures built for high load, zero-downtime reliability, deep tracing, structured logging, and production observability.
• AI Cloud & DevOps: Manage and automate cloud infrastructure, container execution environments, and CI/CD pipelines to support AI workflows.
• Uphold Engineering Standards: Maintain a clean architecture mindset, promote engineering best practices, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver tangible impact.

Requirements

• 5+ Years of Senior Production Experience: Proven track record as a Senior Backend or Platform Engineer shipping software that runs in production at scale.
• End-to-End Execution: Ability to unpack ambiguous problems, perform the necessary research, draw up a solid architectural plan, and execute to completion.
• Architecture & Clean Code Mindset: Deep appreciation for event-driven systems, clean abstractions, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and high standards for software quality and maintainability.
• Core Technical Baseline: Hands-on experience writing production code in TypeScript (NestJS) and/or Python, along with familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Docker, Terraform) and microservices.
• Production Craft & Observability: Real-world experience diagnosing production issues, handling scale/load bottlenecks, and implementing robust logging, tracing, and metrics.
• Impact-First & Collaborative: A team player who is passionate about AI, driven by creating real leverage for other developers, and focused on business outcomes.
