Senior Data Scientist

Description

Grid Dynamics is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our GenAI team as a Lead or Senior Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for leveraging your expertise in machine learning and artificial intelligence to build applications and perform integrations using the latest developments in Large Language Models (LLMs). This position may be extended with more precise requirements as potential projects take shape.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and design effective solutions.
• Utilize your strong programming skills in Python to develop and deploy machine learning models in a production environment.
• Apply expertise in Deep Learning (PyTorch or TensorFlow), NLP, and Transformers to solve complex problems.
• Implement and optimize machine learning algorithms, ensuring scalability and performance.
• Work with cloud providers such as AWS/GCP/Azure for model deployment and infrastructure.
• Utilize your experience in building Large Language Model applications using various prompt engineering techniques.
• Contribute to the development of vector search and conversational AI components.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in machine learning and artificial intelligence.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Experience with Deep Learning frameworks (PyTorch or TensorFlow), NLP, and Transformers.
• Proven experience in building and deploying machine learning models in a production environment.
• Familiarity with cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Solid understanding of classical algorithms, data structures, and coding standards.
• Ability to analyze complex requirements, formulate pragmatic approaches, identify risks, propose solutions, and present ideas effectively.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with vector search and conversational AI is a plus.
