Project Coordinator Ukraine

Location: Kyiv, Kyiv city, Ukraine, Ukraine, Ukrainka, Kyiv Oblast, Ukraine

Department: Production

Workplace: remote

Employment Type: full

Description

Green Earth Group is looking for a highly organized and reliable Project Coordinator based in Ukraine to act as our local representative and primary liaison on the ground for our Ukraine carbon projects, focused on improving agricultural land management and helping farmers and landowners generate carbon credits.

This role does not require technical environmental expertise. Instead, it focuses on communication, coordination, representation, and local follow-up.

You will be our eyes and ears in Ukraine, supporting our international team by facilitating local relationships, attending meetings, coordinating with local partners, and helping ensure smooth day-to-day progress across our carbon project activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Representation & Communication
    • Attend local stakeholder meetings on behalf of Green Earth Group, including meetings with government bodies, NGOs, development agencies, local partners, farmers, landowners, agricultural companies, and other relevant stakeholders.
    • Represent the projects professionally and report key updates, outcomes, and action points to the international team in English.
  • Relationship Management
    • Arrange and maintain contact with local authorities, ministries, municipalities, landowners, agricultural enterprises, implementation partners, NGOs, and community representatives.
    • Help build and manage trusted relationships with on-the-ground partners and stakeholders involved in Green Earth Group’s Ukraine carbon project activities.
  • Coordination & Support
    • Coordinate local travel, site visits, logistics, document collection, meeting preparation, farmer or landowner meetings, and basic reporting.
    • Track and share developments in local media, policy, regulation, agriculture, land use, or community activities that may be relevant to the projects.
    • Provide hands-on assistance to ensure timely follow-up after meetings, workshops, field visits, or project events.
  • Liaison with Field Activities
    • Occasionally accompany Green Earth Group team members, consultants, auditors, or project partners to field locations.
    • Capture photos, quotes, short updates, and field notes for internal reporting, project documentation, and marketing or investor communication where appropriate.

Requirements

  • Based in Ukraine, with regular availability to attend meetings, coordinate locally, and support project activities on the ground.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Fluent in Ukrainian, Russian, and English.
  • Previous experience in administration, project coordination, stakeholder management, external affairs, agriculture, or local government relations is preferred.
  • Professional, proactive, and well-organized, with strong follow-up discipline.
  • Comfortable communicating with farmers, landowners, local partners, authorities, NGOs, and international team members.
  • Ability to travel occasionally to project regions within Ukraine. Travel expenses will be covered.

Benefits

  • A meaningful position contributing to environmental restoration, sustainable agriculture, and community development in Ukraine.
  • Opportunity to work with an international team developing carbon projects that support farmers, landowners, and improved land management.
  • Competitive compensation based on experience.
  • Support, training, and clear structure provided by Green Earth Group’s international operations team.
  • Opportunity to build strong local and international experience in the fast-growing carbon, sustainability, and nature-based solutions sector.
