General Summary
Essential Job Accountabilities
Assist the Business Intelligence team with data analysis, reporting, and dashboard development to support business operations and leadership decision-making.
Support the design, documentation, testing, and maintenance of BI reports and datasets.
Work with internal partners (IT, Finance, Operations, HR, and other departments) to help gather requirements and understand reporting needs.
Help validate data accuracy, troubleshoot data issues, and identify opportunities for data quality improvements.
Assist in creating and organizing documentation, training materials, and user guides for BI reports and dashboards.
Learn and apply BI tools and reporting standards to ensure consistency and efficiency.
Support special projects, ad-hoc reporting requests, and process improvement initiatives as assigned.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related field preferred, but not required
Work Experience
Coursework or projects involving data analysis, reporting, or databases
Exposure to tools such as:
Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools
SQL or relational databases
Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
Academic projects, internships, or group work involving data interpretation or reporting
Knowledge, Skill and Abilities
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Ability to learn new software tools and technical concepts quickly
Basic understanding of data, databases, or analytics concepts
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple tasks or deadlines
Collaborative team player with a willingness to ask questions and learn
Interest in business intelligence, data analytics, or technology-driven decision making
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit and use hands to operate a computer keyboard. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus. Base Hourly Wage Range :
Hourly: $20.00 $21.00Pay may vary based upon relevant experience, skills, location, and education among other factors.
