Get to Know the Team

The Payment Acquiring Team at Grab wants to create a seamless and unified payment experience across our multiple applications. We are a diverse team that uses a variety of coding languages to develop multiple apps, aimed at providing an excellent payment experience for our users.

Get to Know the Role

We are looking for an experienced and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our iteam. You will lead the development of the latest financial solutions, driving and encouraging a collaborative environment. You will be an Individual Contributor role and reports directly to the Senior Engineering Manager. You will work onsite in our Jakarta Office

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• Collaborate with teams to design, and ship new features
• Establish best practices for development and ensure adherence to coding standards
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot critical issues
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment
• Contribute to technical decision-making and long-term strategy for mobile development

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 4+ years of backend development experience
• Proficiency in backend development with Go (Golang)
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), compute technologies (e.g., Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines
• Experienced in balancing hands-on engineering with leadership responsibilities—mentoring others while still writing code and driving execution plans
• Proficiency in English both verbal and written
