Your Day to Day  

As a Devops Engineer you would be working on: 

• A team of highly skilled engineers operating a Kubernetes powered internal developer platform.

• You apply software development principles to build and optimize the core components used by the development teams at GoTo to operate services in a rapidly changing cloud-centric and cloud native environment. 

• As an engineer you are passionate about the quality of the work and are able to achieve Continuous Delivery of improvements on very high traffic and critical production services such as metrics ingestion, alerts and observability tools. 

• As part of your role, you will design solutions to solve customer problems in a team practicing agile where you can expect consensus driven team brainstorms, team work on delivering the code with a strong bias for using and contributing to Open-Source software and frequent inspect & adapt cycles. 

• As most platform teams with a large users' base and ecosystem of services to sustain, you will be involved in support and onCall duty.

• Maintaining high quality standards helps keep the flow of onCall requests to a reasonable level that the team is proud of. 

What We’re Looking For 

As a Devops Engineer, your background will look like  

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or another relevant degree 

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role working on a software development team  

• Experience with Public Clouds (AWS/EKS, OCI/OKE)   

• Experience with Kubernetes and Containerization (e.g., CRI-O, Containerd)  

• Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (ideally Terraform, Argo, Helm)
