About the Team

Platform engineering team’s mission is to empower product engineering teams by providing reliable core APIs, documentation, developer experience, managed services, templates and best practices. The success depends on the success of the product engineering team success. Your hard work enables product engineering teams to build great customer-facing products.

What You’ll Do

  • Work with large SaaS code bases that span across multiple services.

  • High-traffic applications with a lot of data.

  • Streaming data pipelines: Kafka & Flink.

  • Advanced analytics workloads on top of Clickhouse and Cube.

  • Software architecture design and review experience with close collaboration of Staff/Principle engineers.

  • Manage multiple teams in a 100+ engineering organization.

Who You Are

  • Years of software engineering experience: 20+

  • Experience as VPE: 2y minimum. Ideally 3y+

  • Experience as Senior Software engineer: 7y minimum, ideally 10y+

  • Technologies: Python, Java (Flink), Typescript, Postgres, Kafka.

  • Background: Has been a senior software engineer in the past.

Nice to haves:

  • Clickhouse

  • ElasticSearch

  • Temporal or other Durable Execution Frameworks.
