About the Role:
 As our HV Cable Design Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the backbone of modern infrastructure. You’ll be responsible for designing and specifying high-performance HV/EHV cable systems, ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety, reliability, and efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead cutting-edge R&D projects, and support our clients with your technical expertise.

What You’ll Do:
  • Design & Analysis: Create and analyze HV/EHV cable systems, performing complex electrical and mechanical calculations to guarantee optimal performance and safety. Select the right materials for robust cable construction.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all designs meet international standards (IEEE, IEC, ICEA). Prepare and manage technical documentation, data sheets, and Bill of Materials.
  • Collaboration & Support: Work closely with manufacturing teams to bring your designs to life. Provide expert technical support to sales, marketing, and customers. Assist with tenders and proposals.
  • Testing & Innovation: Oversee cable testing procedures and drive R&D projects to develop next-generation cable solutions.
  • Software & Tools: Utilize industry-leading design software (CYMCAP, Comsol Multiphysics, AutoCAD) and MS Office suite to deliver exceptional results.
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in HV cable design, power transmission, and distribution.
  • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of underground power transmission and cable materials.
  • Software Skills: Proficient in CYMCAP, Comsol, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, technical writing, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Work on high-impact projects that shape the region’s energy landscape.
