Engineering Team Lead - Portfolio Apps

Gong is seeking a highly motivated Engineering Team Lead to join our outstanding Portfolio Apps division in R&D organization, dedicated to developing our most popular applications serving thousands of customers and constantly impacting Gong's user base to become raving fans of our product.

As the Engineering Team Lead, you will:

• Lead and expand a growing team of backend and frontend engineers.
• Manage engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
• Collaborate closely with the Product Managers to shape the team’s roadmap, balancing both product goals and engineering priorities.
• Lead by example, driving continuous improvement and optimization of the team’s products and infrastructure.
• Design and architect long-term technical solutions that deliver a significant impact on both our wide platform and customers.
• Coach, mentor, hire, and grow individuals on the team to reach their full potential.

You should apply if you are:

• An experienced team leader (4+ years managing people) 
• A seasoned software developer with +10 years of industry experience.
• Strong technical background focusing on large-scale, cloud-based web applications.
• Proficiency in Java and related frameworks (advantage).
• Experience with user-facing products (advantage).
• Holding a degree in computer science or a similar field (preferred).
• Proven experience in project management and team leadership. 
• Most importantly, a passion for motivating, mentoring, and cultivating people.
