Asset and Wealth Management (AWM) 

Bringing together traditional and alternative investments, we provide clients around the world with a dedicated partnership and focus on long-term performance. As the firm’s primary investment area, we provide investment and advisory services for some of the world’s leading pension plans, sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies, endowments, foundations, financial advisors and individuals, for which we oversee more than $2 trillion in assets under supervision. Real Estate Engineering team is responsible for designing and building applications to scale the real estate business. The team is focused on building the end-to-end infrastructure to launch new retail funds by increased focus on automation, control and scalability which covers product setup applications, workflow management tools, databases, data access layers, applications for asset and portfolio management and various reporting tools. The team covers Real Estate Equity and Real Estate Credit businesses and makes sure that firmwide Regulatory and Fed reporting standards are met to ensure data integrity and effective risk management.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Be a major contributor to the build out of the ETF platform, including taking projects from beginning to end, from analysis, design, implementation, and go-live
• Work with portfolio manager, traders, and operations to understand requirements for new ETF products, as well as to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements
• Support product launches and ongoing ETF operations

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 6+ years of experience as a Software Engineer 
• A degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience with back-end service development in Java 
• Experience with front-end UI development with JavaScript and a major framework
• Experience successfully collaborating directly with stakeholders to understand the product space, identify solutions, and finally deliver software products
• Knowledge of asset management, particularly Equities, Fixed Income and ETFs is a big plus 
• Comfort with multi-tasking, a fast-paced environment, and managing multiple stakeholders
• Experience working as part of a global team
• Excellent written and spoken communication
