Senior Product Manager (Anti-Scam BU/2B)
Team: Product Management
Location: Taipei
Commitment: Full Time
Workplace Type: hybrid
About us
Gogolook is a leading TrustTech company founded in 2012 and listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange in 2025 under the stock code 6902. With "Build for Trust" as its core value, the company has expanded its business from Asia to Europe and America. Gogolook’s AI technology is built on the world's largest database of digital scam data, encompassing phone numbers, websites, virtual currency wallet addresses, and other factors.
The company provides diverse anti-scam and fintech services for both consumers and businesses. Its anti-scam offerings include the digital anti-scam app "Whoscall" and a range of enterprise scam prevention solutions in combination with "ScamAdviser."
The Fintech BU empowers consumers through data-driven financial services and inclusive lending: Roo.Cash(袋鼠金融)offers transparent matchmaking for financial products like credit cards, while JUJI(招財麻吉)provides an innovative microloan service for rapid, convenient funding during urgent financial needs.
A foundation member of the Global Anti-Scam Alliance (GASA), Gogolook has also teamed up with a number of institutes such as the Taiwan National Police Agency Criminal Investigation Bureau, the Financial Supervisory Service of South Korea, Thai Royal Police, the Fukuoka city and Shibuya City government, the Philippines Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center, and the Royal Malaysia Police and state government to fight scam, dedicated to creating a "scam-free environment."
Why you should join Gogolook
- Influential products: What we make are meaningful products that create values for society and defend against frauds.
- Emphasize self-growth: We encourage technical community activities, subsidize tickets for conferences and workshops so that learning is continuously supported by the company.
- Unleash your talent: We respect the professional opinions of everyone, encourage team members to discuss with each other, and make awesome products together.
- Transparent culture: We publicly share the company's information to all, every member can read and feedback, and become a part of participating in the proposal.
Background
Gogolook is the team behind Whoscall. Widely used across Taiwan, Whoscall has become a household anti-scam app that helps millions of people identify suspicious calls and scam risk every day.
Beyond our consumer products, we also provide anti-scam and risk management solutions for enterprises and governments — helping them proactively detect impersonation, reduce scam exposure, and protect their brand and reputation. These capabilities are already deployed across financial services, e-commerce, and retail, and continue to expand into overseas markets such as Japan and Thailand.
As our overseas markets and customer base grow, we need someone who can carry both product development and project management: someone on the front line who turns the needs of customers and our BD teams around the world into a clear product roadmap and releases that ship on time.
Role Overview
The role splits roughly evenly between two halves:
- 50% product development: Gather requirements directly from customers and BD teams across markets, judge priority and feasibility, and translate them into a clear product roadmap and PRDs.
- 50% project management: Drive delivery together with RD, QA, and the AI team — owning schedule, risk, and delivery quality.
You will be the bridge between customers / BD and the engineering team, and you need to speak both languages fluently. This is not a "take requirements, write specs" role — we expect you to care about scam detection itself, and to keep asking whether there is a better way to do it.
Responsibilities
- Requirement gathering and clarification: Interview customers and BD teams directly to gather, clarify, and consolidate real needs and use cases.
- Roadmap and prioritization: Turn requirements into a clear product roadmap, set priorities, and explain the trade-offs behind them to stakeholders.
- PRD and specification: Write clear, actionable PRDs, manage the backlog, and drive delivery through the established workflow (PRD → design → implementation → testing → release).
- Project and delivery management: Own development and project progress — managing schedule, dependencies, and risk to ensure releases land on time, at quality, and in line with customer commitments.
- Data insight: Query and interpret product data yourself to surface insights that hold up to scrutiny, and use them as evidence for improving both the product and the process.
- Working efficiently with AI tools: Make hands-on use of AI tools (e.g. Claude) and connect tools such as Jira and Confluence through connectors and automation, cutting down context switching and repetitive work.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work day to day with BD teams across markets, customers, RD, QA, and the AI team — translating needs and constraints across functions so decisions are understood and executed.
Required
- 5–8+ years in B2B / B2G product management or project management, with the ability to own both product definition and delivery execution.
- Near-native spoken and written English — able to interview, present, and document directly with overseas BD teams and customers.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management: comfortable talking directly with front-line people, and able to translate their needs into language engineering can act on.
- Solid product-management fundamentals: requirements analysis, PRD writing, roadmap and backlog management, schedule and risk control.
- Strong data sense — able to query and analyze data independently (SQL / BI / spreadsheets) and turn it into insight and decision-making evidence.
- Familiarity with AI tools and workflow integration (e.g. Claude, Jira, Confluence, connectors / automation), and a habit of continuously improving your own workflow.
- Genuine enthusiasm for anti-scam and scam detection, and the instinct to keep asking "is there a better way?"
Nice to Have
- Experience with anti-scam, security, risk management, or trust products.
- Experience serving enterprise customers or government agencies, especially in overseas markets (Southeast Asia, Japan, Korea, etc.).
- A technical background, or close prior collaboration with RD / AI teams, with an understanding of technical constraints and trade-offs.
- Experience with Agile / Scrum and hands-on project management in Jira.
What You'll Get
- Real room to make product decisions in front of actual customers and overseas markets — not just execute predefined specs.
- Direct collaboration with BD teams across markets, customers, and the RD / QA / AI teams, with full involvement from requirement to launch.
- Portable B2B / B2G product and project management experience, built on a problem with genuine social impact.
