What you'll get to do...

• Design, develop, and maintain secure, highly available, fault-tolerant, and globally performant microservices-based platforms deployed on the AWS cloud
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to deliver innovative software solutions
• Build and refine large-scale distributed applications, improving their performance, reliability, and manageability
• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from planning and architecting to implementation, testing, and production deployment
• Write efficient, maintainable code following industry best practices, and ensure high code quality through comprehensive testing
• Continuously innovate by keeping up to date with the latest technologies and best practices, guiding the team in adopting them
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, taking part in on-call rotations as needed, and ensuring the reliability of your team’s DevOps responsibilities

Your experience should include...

• Mid-Level SDE: 3+ years of experience in software engineering roles, building large-scale distributed applications or solutions
• Senior-Level SDE: 5+ years of experience in software engineering roles with extensive experience in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality applications
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, Node.js, or similar
• Experience in developing and implementing RESTful APIs, with a strong understanding of microservice architecture
• Hands-on experience with cloud computing services, particularly AWS or Azure
• Strong foundation in data structures, software designs, microservices, and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and workflows such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or equivalent
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, DynamoDB)

• Database: MySQL, MongoDB; Cloud Services: AWS  
• Backend: Java, Node.js, Python, and Ruby on Rails  
• Frontend: JavaScript, React 

You might also have...

• Experience working in eCommerce or payments domains
• A passion for continuous learning and personal development, with a strong interest in new technologies like React, Go, or AI/ML frameworks
• Experience migrating legacy systems to modern cloud-based architectures
• Experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or equivalent
• Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest or Mocha, and knowledge of monitoring tools like Datadog or ElasticAPM
