This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.

Join our diverse team at GoDaddy as a Senior Engineer and take on a leadership role in designing and implementing our pioneering Data & ML services. With a focus on innovation, you will drive the development of advanced technology that revolutionizes our Data & ML platform and provides scalable solutions for our millions of customers. In this role, you play a critical role in driving the company’s technology strategy by leading the development of new and existing products, processes, and systems. You will also be responsible for mentoring and coaching engineers, creating and continuously improving engineering processes, and working with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results. You will also have the opportunity to lead the development of our next-generation infrastructure and join forces with AWS to pioneer the most advanced services, including DataZone, Bedrock, and the next generation of SageMaker. What you'll get to do...

• Designing and expanding ML services, such as large language model hosting service
• Architect and design highly available, scalable, and secure services
• Provide engineering guidance to your team and other engineers on building secure and reliable services
• Collaborate on a high-impact, mission-driven Scrum team
• Participate in DevOps, release, and on-call activities in support of your code
• Monitor and measure engineering and operational metrics, identify and drive process and quality improvements
• Contribute to technology working groups and internal open-source
• Coach and mentor your team, provide technical training, and promote best practices

Your experience should include...

• 7+ years of experience in developing and deploying production software
• Experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or equivalent
• Experience with building real-time and batch APIs and web Services, with hands-on experience in Microservices architecture
• Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and best practices. E.g. Cloud Formation or similar.
• Proficiency in Java or Python programming languages
• Experience with DevOps

You might also have...

• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent technical degree, with excellent computer science fundamentals
• Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow, Large Language Models, Generative AI, Langchain, Transformer models or related
• Manage Kubernetes clusters for AI/ML platform deployment, including cluster setup, application monitoring, and maintenance
• Good understanding of end-to-end machine learning services, toolings/systems
• Expertise in operationalising, monitoring, and scaling machine learning models and pipelines in cloud ecosystems
• Experience with TypeScript or JavaScript
• Experience with entitlement and IAM policy
• Experience with AKS, EKS, Rancher
• Experience in A/B testing platforms
• Experience in an Agile software development environment
