Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack

Location Details: Gurgaon - Hybrid

This is a hybrid position. You’ll divide your time between working remotely from your home and an office, so you should live within commuting distance. Hybrid teams may work in-office as much as a few times a week or as little as once a month or quarter, as decided by leadership. We are looking for a Software Development Engineer to assist in building and strengthening our new-generation Risk platform. GoDaddy is a global products seller to customers from all over the world. This makes GoDaddy a primary target for any kind of fraud and abuse activity. GoDaddy’s Risk Platform is responsible for stopping such activities and also forecasting and preventing any future activity across the entire GoDaddy Software. If building Anti-fraud software capabilities, out-of-the-box thinking, cloud-based technologies, and Machine learning sounds exciting to you then you are made for the role!

What you'll get to do...

• You will build a secure, highly available, fault-tolerant, and globally performant micro-services-based platform deployed on the AWS cloud that uses the newest technology stack.
• Write efficient, maintainable code following best practices, and ensure code quality through extensive unit and integration testing.
• You will work in a scrum team and join forces with other specialists, product managers, architects, and operations teams from within and outside of the eCommerce group.

Your experience should include...

• 3+ years of technology experience in a Software engineering role and building large-scale distributed applications or solutions.
• Proven experience in React programming language and any backend language (preferably Java)
• Strong foundational knowledge of data structures, software designs, microservices, and containers.
• Experience with relational and No-SQL databases.
• Experience of working in agile teams.
• Experience building CI/CD and server/deployment automation solutions.

You may also have...

• Familiarity with version control software, Git is helpful.
• 3+ years of Cloud computing experience using publicly available services, AWS is an advantage.
• Familiarity with application performance monitoring.
