Senior Software Development Engineer (Care, AI)

Location Details: Colombia, Remote

This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Senior Software Development Engineer to join our Care team. As a key member of this team, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing AI-powered solutions that enhance our customer service and sales capabilities. Your work will directly impact the effectiveness of our customer interactions and contribute to the overall success of our business.  

What you´ll get to do...  

• Design, develop, and maintain secure, highly available, fault-tolerant, and globally performant AI platforms deployed on AWS cloud.  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build shared experiences and flows.  
• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from planning and architecture to implementation, testing, and maintaining services.  
• Write efficient, maintainable code following best practices, and ensure code quality through extensive unit and integration testing. 
• Participate in on-call rotations where you will investigate and resolve production issues, write and participate in After Action Reviews, and develop solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Contribute to technical documentation, code reviews, and mentoring fellow engineers.  
• Stay up-to-date with the latest in AI and backend technologies, providing guidance to other developers.  

Your experience should include...  

• 5+ years experience in software development with a focus on backend development of REST APIs.  
• Strong proficiency in both Golang and TypeScript. 
• Prior experience in developing AI or machine learning applications.  
• 3+ years' experience building applications on AWS, with proficiency in a modern Infrastructure as Code tool like CloudFormation, CDK, Terraform, etc.  
• 3+ years’ experience and demonstrable proficiency in a modern NoSQL or RDBMS platform.  
• Extensive experience and preference for Agile software development.  
• Knowledge and passion for software craftsmanship, including Domain Driven Design, Hexagonal Architecture, Design Patterns, and Testing.  

You might also have...  

• Experience with Temporal.  
• Experience in DevOps.
