Senior Cloud Network Security Engineer

Location Details: India, Remote

At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time; others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.​

This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.  

In this role you will work with a globally dispersed team which requires working up til 12am IST.

The ideal candidate is also comfortable defining strategies, crafting technical solutions, and driving team members from across the company to deliver shared goals. What you'll get to do...

• Develop and implement secure network architectures for cloud environments, aligning with best practices and organizational needs (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Establish and implement security policies, standards, and governance frameworks to align with regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2)
• Conduct regular risk assessments and gap analyses to identify potential vulnerabilities and strengthen cloud security posture
• Deploy, lead and maintain Network Security infrastructure including IDS/IPS systems, Sinkholes, Honeypots, etc
• Perform threat modeling and risk assessments
• Mentor and train internal teams on secure cloud practices and promote a culture of security awareness

Your experience should include...

• 8+ years of experience in network security with a focus on cloud architecture and governance (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Deep understanding of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, WAFs and load balancers in cloud environments
• Deep understanding and practical application of zero trust strategies, like NIST Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA), and hands-on experience with industry leading zero-trust technologies
• Defining frameworks for risk assessment and threat modeling

You might also have...

• Windows and Linux system administration and security hardening experience
• Graduate or Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, AWS Certified Security Specialty, or Azure Security Solutions Architect, etc
