Full Stack Engineer

Location Details: Colombia, remote.

Remote: This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.

This position is for the UXCore team, where you’ll be helping grow the React component library for the design system used to build customer experiences for all of GoDaddy-owned brands. This diverse team of full-stack engineers works on the theming system, react component library, and all tooling that supports the delivery of the UI ecosystem. We are looking for a front-end-focused engineer who has a passion for delivering libraries and tools that increase the efficiencies of partner teams. What you'll get to do...

• The position is focused towards creating/maintaining/supporting the react component library that delivers the design system.
• You will be responsible for composing flexible components that are accessible and thoroughly tested.
• Your expertise will help provide support/guidance to all teams who consume the component library.
• When you’re not actively working on components, you will be asked to help develop tooling around our systems (build/delivery/automation/etc).

Your experience should include...

• 3+ years of relevant full-time software engineering
• In-depth knowledge of semantic HTML, CSS, and core JavaScript concepts
• Developing React components or component libraries
• Experience using a distributed version control system, like GIT
• Testing react components, unit, and e2e
• Excellent communication skills, with a passion for teaching and assisting others in learning
• A continuous learning mindset with a strong sense of creativity

You might also have...

• JavaScript Bundling – experience with webpack/rollup/vite would be ideal
• API Design/Development
• Basic understanding of Docker
• Open Source Contributions/Ownership – A solid understanding of version/release management
