Senior DevOps Engineer

Primary:

• Plan and deploy cloud resources to various cloud networks hosted on Amazon Web Services using automation tools like Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation.

• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux & Windows production systems on AWS.

• Deploy and configure industry standard Web technologies.

• Develop and execute security and recovery plans that defend the business from threats including from data loss, disaster, and security breaches. 

• Design and implement effective monitoring schemes that promote proactive discovery and resolution of issues. 

• Participate in on-call rotation for critical 24x7 production systems.

• Excellent communication skills are a must, both written and verbal.

Secondary:

• Support MySQL, SQL Server, MongoDB deployments, migrations, performance tuning, replication

• Planning, implementing, documenting, and administering configuration control procedures across multiple projects.

• Administering, maintaining, and troubleshooting source and change control repositories.

• Executing, verifying, and troubleshooting full software system builds.

• Contributing to continuing process improvement of all software configuration management activities and procedures.

• Develop build scripts and tools for builds, using the most appropriate languages and technologies.

Technical Skills:

• Experience with software development/languages including BASH and Python.

• Familiar with Configuration Management concepts.

• Thorough understanding of AWS cloud technologies/implementation/deployment.

• Linux, Mac, and Windows experience required.
