What you'll own

• Develop and deliver scalable application solutions that enhance platform performance, reliability, and user experiences while supporting critical business and client outcomes.

• Drive continuous improvement across applications and systems by identifying opportunities to optimize code quality, streamline processes, and accelerate product delivery.

• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to shape effective technology solutions that address business challenges, create value, and support long-term growth.

• Influence engineering excellence by applying development standards, security best practices, and quality controls that strengthen system stability and compliance.

• Contribute to team capability and innovation by sharing knowledge, mentoring peers, and helping advance development practices that improve overall engineering effectiveness.

What you'll bring

• Proven experience designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications in professional development environments.

• Strong proficiency in PHP and modern software development practices, with experience working across front-end and back-end technologies.

• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex technical challenges, develop effective solutions, and deliver high-quality outcomes with minimal supervision.

• Experience working with application programming interfaces (APIs), relational and NoSQL databases, and scalable application architectures.

• A collaborative, ownership-driven mindset with the ability to influence stakeholders, work across teams, and deliver measurable business value.

It's a bonus if you have

• Experience with IBM Rational Tools or similar enterprise development environments.

• Exposure to payment processing, financial technology, or Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance standards.

• Experience working with modern web frameworks such as Node.js, React.js, or Angular in enterprise-scale environments.
