You will:

• Work with product and key stakeholders to set desired product roadmaps
• Drive critical improvements to stay ahead of the growing business needs
• Evaluate new technologies and delivery practices
• Drive accurate and efficient project estimates
• Create project plans, identify dependencies and risks, and allocate resources
• Stay up to date on the latest security threats and secure application design and coding practices
• Lead the design, craftsmanship, availability, resilience, security and scalability of your solutions
• Foster a culture to stay on top of technology trends and participate in technology communities
• Encourage innovation, inclusion, teamwork, self-organization, and diversity
• Lead and mentor a team of software developers
• Prepare and present technical presentations and project status

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree with 10+ years of experience in software development
• At least 2 years experience in agile practices and project management
• Strong understanding of service oriented/micro-services architecture
• At least 8 years of experience in .NET development 
• At least 5 years of experience with one or more RDBMS systems (SQL Server, Oracle )
• At least 3 years of experience creating and consuming Rest based APIs
• At least 2 years of experience working with Docker and Kubernetes in the cloud
• Real-time processing and high volume service development experience
• Experience developing and managing cloud solutions

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Google Cloud and GKE is a big plus
• Experience with distributed DB solutions like CockroachDB, Cloud Spanner or Postgres is a big plus
• Previous experience with GRPC APIs
• Payments industry experience
