Job Description

TouchNet is seeking a motivated business intern who is seeking an opportunity to intern for the Summer Semester  of 2025. This internship is an excellent opportunity to be involved with TouchNet's Data Governance initiative and to gain valuable work experience with a robust CRM system.  ready to apply knowledge of business practices and processes in a fast-paced, real-world environment. The Database Intern will assist in improving data quality, provide data analysis for stakeholders, and work on various projects involving the Salesforce CRM platform.  This will be a valuable experience for any student pursuing a career in business administration, project management or other related fields.

Business Intern Duties and Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

• System administration

• Data entry

• Industry research

• Analysis of business goals, objectives, and needs

• Help with planning and design of business processes and with recommendations for improvement

• Project Coordination in support of Project and Program Manager

• Assistance in resolving business issues using systems and data

• Project management and execution of small scale but critical projects

• Documentation of problems and coordination of resolutions, with follow through
   

Requirements

• Business Administration, Project Management, Mathematics, Computer Science or related major

• Minimum 3.0 GPA

• Interest in data management, project coordination, or CRM systems

• Basic data analysis skills

• Database management knowledge

• Data collection and data entry skills

• Technical proficiency using Excel/Google Sheets

• Ability to work independently with strong problem-solving and time management skills

• Good written and verbal communication skills

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

• Familiarity with Salesforce CRM systems would be a bonus

• This position is required to report to the Lenexa, KS office
