PTC is looking for a SME who has practical hands-on experience in Java for secured software integration, delivery and deployment, and is responsible for shifting Security to the left in entire software supply chain right from building to the deployment aiding reliability to the agility.

The candidate will be working as a part of a team involved in design, implementation, performant, secured, agile, and reliable delivery and deployment of PTC’s flagship PLM suite, Windchill, on a SaaS platform. This position is based out of PTC’s Pune R&D facility.

Job responsibilities include:

• Develop and deploy highly secure in multiple environments.
• Work towards achieving 100% automation.
• Participate in Code Analysis/Review, bug fixing.
• Implement industry best practices for system hardening and configuration management
• Sustain and improve the process of knowledge sharing throughout the cross-functional team including multiple groups (viz. IT, Engineering) working on several different technologies
• Communicate effectively about the work done, rationale behind it and the impact on other parts of the product and trade-offs that have been made
• Help shape the DevOps vision and road map

Must Have Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information technology or equivalent software development experience.
• 5 to 8+ years of experience in server-side programming in Java.
• Experience in working on PLM software like Windchill would be an added advantage.
• Proven working experience in languages like Java.
• Proven working experience in Oracle DB, Microsoft SQL
• Passionate about simple and clean code, unit testing and following standard coding practices.
• Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, problem-solving skills and innovation capabilities.
