Associate QA Analyst  Windchill (PTC Pune R&D) 

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to validate the deployment, maintenance, and operational workflows of PTC's SaaS solutions hosted on Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS). The role involves ensuring the reliability, performance, and quality of cloud-based services while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver a seamless customer experience. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Analyse and understand customer requirements to define effective validation strategies.  

  • Plan, design, and execute test scenarios that closely replicate real-world customer environments.  

  • Validate automated deployment and operational services for Windchill applications hosted on cloud platforms.  

  • Identify, analyse, and track defects, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive timely resolution.  

  • Troubleshoot complex issues and apply analytical problem-solving skills to ensure service reliability.  

  • Work closely with Developers, Product Owners, SRE, and Operations teams to improve product quality and deployment processes.  

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by enhancing test automation, validation frameworks, and operational best practices.  

  • Continuously learn emerging cloud technologies, tools, and industry best practices to improve testing efficiency and product quality. 

Required Skills & Experience: 

  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.  

  • 1–2 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, Cloud Operations, DevOps, or a related field.  

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.  

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical learning abilities.  

  • Good understanding of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS) 

  • Hands-on experience deploying, validating, and maintaining cloud infrastructure and applications on Azure and/or AWS.  

  • Practical experience with cloud services such as Azure Virtual Machines (VMs), Azure Blob Storage, Azure Active Directory (Azure AD), and Oracle Pluggable Databases (PDBs) 

  • Experience working with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and cloud orchestration tools such as Terraform and SaltStack 

  • Working knowledge of Python and/or Shell scripting for automation and validation activities.  

  • Hands-on experience working in Unix/Linux environments.
