Role: Product Manager - PriSMS (Student Management System)

Work Location: Bangalore / Noida

Work Model: Onsite (5 Days work from Office)

We are looking for a Product Manager to lead the evolution of PriSMS, a comprehensive Student Management System designed for higher education institutions. The Product Manager will act as the bridge between business, product, and technology teams working closely with the Product Owner, engineering teams, and the low-code platform team (Metacode) to deliver scalable, compliant, and user-centric solutions.

The ideal candidate will have experience in EdTech, student lifecycle management, enterprise SaaS products, and low-code ecosystems, with a strong understanding of higher education operations and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Roadmap

• Define and manage the product roadmap for PriSMS aligned with institutional and business goals.

• Translate strategic objectives into product requirements and prioritized features.

• Identify opportunities for product innovation across admissions, enrollment, academics, finance, compliance, and student engagement.

Collaboration with Product Owner

• Partner closely with the Product Owner to refine product vision, backlog prioritization, and sprint planning.

• Convert business requirements into clear product specifications and user stories.

• Ensure alignment between stakeholder needs and development deliverables.

Low-Code Platform (Metacode) Alignment

• Work with the Metacode platform team to understand platform capabilities, constraints, and reusable components.

• Design scalable product features leveraging low-code architecture.

• Define configuration standards, integration patterns, and extensibility requirements.

• Collaborate on platform enhancements needed to support PriSMS growth.

Student Management Domain Ownership

• Own end-to-end workflows across:

• Student recruitment & admissions

• Registration & enrollment

• Course scheduling

• Attendance management

• Assessments & grading

• Student records & transcripts

• Fees & payments

• Graduation & alumni management

Regulatory & Compliance Alignment

• Ensure PriSMS workflows align with higher education regulatory requirements across key markets (US, UK, Europe, UAE).

• Support audit-readiness, accreditation reporting, and compliance documentation.

• Collaborate with regulatory SMEs for product compliance mapping.

Integrations & Data

• Define integrations with LMS, ERP, CRM, finance systems, and government reporting platforms.

• Own data models, reporting requirements, and analytics capabilities.

• Ensure data governance, privacy, and security compliance.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Product Management, Computer Science, Education Technology, or related field.

• 5–10 years of experience in product management, preferably in EdTech or enterprise SaaS.

Strong understanding of Student Information Systems (SIS) / Student Management Systems.

• Experience working with low-code/no-code platforms, preferably Metacode or similar.

• Experience collaborating with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Engineering teams.

• Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and backlog management.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with platforms like Salesforce, Microsoft Power Platform, or OutSystems.

• Exposure to higher education compliance and accreditation workflows.

• Understanding of API integrations and enterprise architecture.

• Experience with multi-campus or international education operations.
