What you will be doing?

Glance is looking for a Machine Learning Engineer.

What You Will Be Doing?

• Develop and deploy machine learning models with a focus on quick, reliable experimentation to validate features and hypotheses. Our team values speed and quality in experimentation.

• Assist in building and maintaining machine learning pipelines, aiding in tasks such as data preparation, model training, and evaluation.

• Collaborate closely with Designers, UX Researchers, Product Managers, and Software Engineers to contribute to the integration of machine learning solutions into Glance's products.

• Monitor the health and performance of machine learning models, using statistical methods to ensure their effectiveness.

• Conduct preliminary research and development in machine learning techniques to enhance Glance's product capabilities.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related technical field with 4+ years of relevant industry experience OR

• Master's degree in a related technical field with 3+ year of relevant industry experience.

• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.

• Basic understanding of statistics as applied to machine learning, including probability theory and hypothesis testing.

• Demonstrable ability to contribute to machine learning projects, either in a work setting or via academic coursework.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong focus on quick, trustworthy experimentation to validate machine learning models and hypotheses.

• Significant Plus: Hands-on experience or strong theoretical understanding of Recommender Systems is highly valued by our team.

• Basic understanding of data management and storage solutions like SQL databases is a plus.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts effectively to a non-technical audience.
