KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES | ||||||||||||||
· Partner with Product Owners, Architects, and Delivery teams to develop technical service roadmaps. · Develop provisioning processes for Data Lake resources adhering to Core Public Cloud Principles, including IaaS & PaaS. · Develop auditable Infrastructure, Software & Data Deployment processes using IaC principles. · Provide technical direction on architecting, designing, building, and deploying cloud solutions for Enterprise Applications and Data & Analytics teams. · Contribute to product milestones by resolving complex problems, understanding platform and software dependencies. · Contribute to the development of Cyber Security processes, including logging, audit & governance processes. · Evaluate new cloud capabilities (applications/software/tools). · Manage vendor relationships and understand industry trends to contribute to the overall technology roadmap. · Consult on implementing cost-optimized cloud solutions. · Demonstrate thought leadership in establishing research positions. · Administer, troubleshoot, and resolve failures and critical alerts. · Operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS | ||||||||||||||

- 7+ years of relevant IT Infrastructure/DevOps experience with 3+ years of experience designing and implementing cloud infrastructure.
- Automation-first mindset.
- Experience with tools like Terraform, Ansible, and extensive experience with Infrastructure Automation using Python and Shell scripting.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) such as Terraform. Proficiency in building/enabling cloud services using IaC tool Terraform.
- Experience with cloud adoption concepts, processes & tools, including cloud security, governance, and integration.
- Experience with GCP Big Query, Snowflake, and MaxCompute (or similar cloud data warehousing solutions).
- Strong knowledge of cloud security practices and Cloud IAM Policy.
- Expertise in deployment, building, scanning, and monitoring infrastructure in the Cloud (GCP or Azure or AWS or Ali Cloud).
- Experience with agile techniques and methods.
- Familiarity with user expectations for designing user-centric engineering services – e.g., provisioning self-service workflow.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- High Availability & Disaster Recovery Processes design and implementation.
- Working knowledge of DevOps, Agile development processes, exploration, and POCs.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across functional team boundaries.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS |
- Good understanding of Linux OS and Windows Server.
- Strong cloud programming skills with experience in API and Cloud Functions development.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise config & DevOps tools.
- Knowledge and experience in API development, AI/ML, Data Lake, Data Analytics.
- Ability to participate in fast-paced DevOps and System Engineering teams within Scrum agile processes.
- Flexibility, reliability, initiative, responsibility, and a "can-do" mentality.
