OVERVIEW

The Digital and Technology team at General Mills India Centre is looking for a Senior D&T Intelligent Automation Engineer to contribute to the company’s global digital transformation agenda through intelligent automation delivery. This role is expected to design, develop, and operate scalable automation and AI-enabled automation solutions. This includes leveraging deterministic and probabilistic automation, low-code platforms, workflow technologies, and advanced agentic AI to create measurable value across our global operation.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Design, develop, and implement end-to-end automation solutions using , Power Platform, Machine Learning, and Agentic AI.

  • Build and enhance applications, workflows, portals, workspaces, CRUD apps, and CSM solutions.

  • Develop and manage secure integrations with enterprise systems such as SAP, GCP, and SQL using REST APIs.

  • Provide technical leadership, resolve complex issues, and ensure platform stability and business continuity.

  • Support, troubleshoot, modernize, and rationalize existing Power Platform solutions.

  • Ensure adherence to development standards, governance, security, testing, and quality practices.

  • Lead recruitment, training, coaching, and knowledge transfer within the automation team.

  • Manage vendors, platform partners, project documentation, and delivery processes.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable automation solutions.

  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities and drive adoption of emerging automation technologies.

  • Monitor solution performance and provide ongoing production support, incident resolution, and problem management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education:  Bachelor’s degree

Experience:  8+ years of total experience and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. 

Technical Skills: 

  • Expert in App-Engine Low Code/No Code development or Customer service Management experience.

  • Client Side and Server-Side Scripting i.e. Catalog Client Script, Business Rules, Script Actions, Script Includes, and UI policies.

  • Flow Designer, Actions and Sub-actions.

  • Portal, Widgets, HTML, and CSS.

  • Exposure to Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate flows and PowerApps, is required.

  • JavaScript, JSON, XML, and REST APIs.

  • Integration of with external systems like ERP, GCP, SAAS, and custom applications.

  • System architecture, data, version control and security. 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Understanding of: -

  • Other modules like CSM, ITSM, SAM.

  • Agentic AI, Gen AI, Python AI Libraries.

  • Cloud technologies like GCP/Azure/AWS.

  • DevOps and ML Ops.
