About the Role:

We are seeking a Web Experience Engineering Manager with expertise in Content Management Systems (CMS) like Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). In this role, you will lead a team of skilled engineers to develop, maintain, and optimize our web platform. Your responsibilities will include integrating AEM with our eCommerce infrastructure, ensuring seamless content management, and enhancing the overall customer experience. We require strong technical proficiency in eCommerce web development and extensive experience with CMS platforms, coupled with exceptional leadership abilities to drive successful outcomes.

• Technical Leadership:

  • Lead the engineering team in designing, implementing, and maintaining eCommerce web solutions integrated with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).

  • Drive the architecture and development of scalable, reliable, and high-performance eCommerce features utilizing AEM capabilities.

  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in eCommerce and CMS technologies, incorporating best practices into platform development.

• CMS Integration:

  • Oversee the integration of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) with our eCommerce web platform, ensuring seamless content management workflows and user experiences.

  • Supervise migration activities from different CMS platforms to AEM.

  • Collaborate with CMS administrators and content creators to streamline content authoring, publishing, and localization processes within AEM.

• Team Management:

  • Recruit, mentor, and manage a team of skilled engineers specialized in eCommerce development and CMS integration.

  • Set clear goals, provide ongoing feedback, and foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment conducive to innovation and growth.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with product management, design, marketing, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

  • Collaborate with content creators, UX designers, and marketers to optimize content presentation and user engagement on the eCommerce platform.

• Quality Assurance and Optimization:

  • Establish and enforce coding standards, participate in code reviews, testing methodologies, and deployment processes to ensure the stability, performance, and security of the eCommerce web platform.

  • Implement monitoring and analytics tools to track platform performance, user behavior, and content effectiveness, driving continuous optimization efforts.

What You’ll Need to be Successful in this Role

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.

• 8+ years of experience in eCommerce development and management, focusing on Content Management Systems like Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).

• Proficiency in web development technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and experience with modern JavaScript frameworks.

• Extensive hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) versions from 6.5 to AEMaaCS, including customization, integration, and administration.

• Digital Customer Experience platforms (Adobe AEM and Marketing Cloud, Analytics, DTM, Target)

• Expertise in full-stack software development, with proficiency in front-end and back-end technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular, Node.js, Java, Python, or similar.

• Strong knowledge of software architecture patterns, design principles, and software development methodologies.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

• In-depth understanding of web performance optimization techniques and tools.

• Experience with CI/CD, Release Management processes and Application Deployments to Adobe Cloud.

• Solid grasp of databases, SQL, and ORM frameworks.

• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and mentor a team of engineers.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to delivering innovative and customer-centric solutions.

• Experience with agile development methodologies and project management tools.

• Certification or training in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) is a plus.
