Title: Intern – Junior Test Engineer / Test Engineer Associate

Location: Brno, Czech Republic
Duration: Full-time, 12-week summer internship (June–September 2025)

Interns must be full time students (not part time)

Mission and Goals

As a Junior Test Engineer Intern, you’ll join our QA Engineering team to support the testing of our Windows Antivirus and Security Suite. You’ll be helping us identify bugs, improve test documentation, and prepare virtual machine templates—all essential for ensuring product quality. This role is ideal for a student with strong technical curiosity and a desire to learn real-world QA engineering practices.

• Support testing efforts of Windows security products by identifying and documenting bugs.
• Help maintain testing environments and tools.
• Collaborate with QA engineers and developers to improve product reliability.
• Grow your knowledge of cybersecurity and testing methodologies.

Objectives

• Perform testing tasks based on assigned test missions.
• Prepare and maintain virtual test environments.
• Script or program useful testing tools (PowerShell, Python, etc.).
• Communicate effectively within the team and document your work clearly.

Competencies

• Proactive learner with a collaborative mindset.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and problem-solve.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS and system administration.
• Experience using virtual environments (e.g., VMware).
• Basic scripting experience (PowerShell or Python).
• Familiarity with QA/testing processes is a plus.
• Strong interest in cybersecurity and/or software testing.
