What You Will Do in This Role

• Design, develop, and maintain robust machine learning models for both streaming and batch data pipelines.

• Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to integrate machine learning models into production environments.

• Implement real-time data processing and analytics solutions using streaming technologies.

• Develop and optimize ETL processes for batch data processing.

• Ensure data quality and integrity through preprocessing, cleaning, and transformation.

• Monitor and troubleshoot the performance of machine learning models and data pipelines.

• Stay updated with the latest advancements in machine learning, data engineering, and streaming technologies.

What You’ll Need to be Successful in this Role

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering

• Proven experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or in a similar role, with 5+ years relevant experience

• Strong programming skills in Scala, Python

• Pipeline design(s) to handle million(s) of records in both streaming/batch fashion

• Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.

• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.

• Knowledge of machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).

• Familiarity with AWS cloud services such as EMR, Glue, S3, Athena, Open Search, Lambda, MSK, AirFlow, and DynamoDB to build and deploy applications in the cloud.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
