About The Role: 

We are looking for a C++ engineer with knowledge of web technologies (JS, HTML, CSS). Your mission would be to develop and maintain a web browser product on both Mac and Windows platforms. 

About The Team: 

Our team develops a Chromium-based web browser with focus on security and privacy. We offer features such as built-in VPN, content scanning, and web shield. 

What You’ll Do in This Role: 

• Analyze, document, and bring solutions for new features. 

• Extend existing features with new functionality. 

• Investigate and fix bugs. 

• Integrate upstream Chromium changes. 

• Work with Jira, GitHub, TeamCity, Confluence. 

• Perform effective code reviews. 

• Learn about various parts of the Chromium project.

What You’ll Need to be Successful in this Role: 

• Experience with modern C++ (14 or newer). 

• Knowledge of web technologies (JS, HTML, CSS). 

• Ability to write testable code and unit tests. 

• English on B2 level. 

What we welcome or we will teach you: 

• Ability to use C++ language and library features effectively. 

• Experience with user interface development, especially with Chromium WebUI. 

• Knowledge of the Chromium open-source project. 

• Debugging skills. 

• Experience with Python.
