In the United States, we have a flexible hybrid work policy for employees who live within 30 miles of our office headquartered in New York City and our office in Seattle. Employees within the New York and Seattle metropolitan areas are expected to work from the designated office twice a week, unless there is a job-specific requirement to be in the office every workday. Employees outside of these areas are considered part of our remote-first workforce. We believe our hybrid approach for those near our NYC and Seattle offices increases productivity through more in-person collaboration where possible.

The Department: Finance (Treasury)

As a team within the broader Finance group, the Treasury team works closely with cross functional stakeholders and manages Gemini’s banking relationships. Projects within the Treasury group range from short sprints and urgent response requests to long-term redesign initiatives aimed to improve scalability and automation.

The Role: Lead, Project Manager

Responsibilities:

• Engage with all aspects of assigned projects - from design through implementation.
• Manage meetings and monitor progress against deadlines for individual contributors in order to meet C-suite requirements.
• Maintain project budgets and timelines.
• Create and update reports on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
• Interface with external vendors and partners to manage incoming inquiries, working collaboratively with other functions to respond timely to requests.
• Provide the team guidance on prioritization of tasks and be able to effectively assess complexity to ensure proper alignment of resources.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 4 year college degree or equivalent.
• 4+ years of experience with financial markets - either traditional finance or digital assets.
• 6+ years of Project Management experience leading cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills ranging from task management for individual contributors to C-suite executives.
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel, Google applications, and Atlassian applications.
• Proven track record for project delivery, meeting deadlines, and finding creative solutions when project delays arise.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced certification (PMP or ITIL).
• Financial certifications are not required, but encouraged. Understanding the regulatory landscape in traditional financial markets will lend well as the crypto space evolves.

Salary Range: The base salary range for this role is between $122,000 - $152,000 in the State of New York, the State of California and the State of Washington. This range is not inclusive of our discretionary bonus or equity package. When determining a candidate’s compensation, we consider a number of factors including skillset, experience, job scope, and current market data.
