Job Description Summary

The Lead Product Service Engineer – Gas Turbine Accessories Systems provides direct technical support to global GE Vernova Gas Power customers across three primary workstreams.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the technical resolution to issues resolution involving gas turbine accessories including but not limited to inlet, exhaust, Gas & Liquid Fuel, Oil, Water injection, Cooling water, Enclosures, Piping & Flex hoses, Valves & Actuators, Purge air systems, and instrumentations at power plants with a sense of urgency.
• Identify trending issues and provide countermeasures to protect our customers’ fleet, then communicate to the relevant audience (TILs, PSxBs, ETCs, OnTheGo alerts, etc.)
• Drive complex RCAs through root cause and corrective action while communicating both internally (field teams, GEV leadership) and externally to end customers
• Work collaboratively with partnering teams, e.g. design engineering, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Vendors, quality, and/or Field services to provide sound technical resolution in a timely manner.
• Represent the organization in user conferences, customer clarification meetings, and other industry communications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s and/or Master's degree in engineering from accredited university.
• Minimum 7 years of direct commissioning or maintenance or engineering or relevant functional experience with GE Vernova Gas turbine and mechanical Accessories/Auxiliaries systems 
• Strong oral and written communication in English language
• This role requires around 10-15% within and outside of the region

Desired Characteristics

• Proven experience with GE Vernova F/HA Gas turbines
• Strong working knowledge of various GE Vernova Heavy Duty Gas turbine operational philosophy
• Self-starter and resourceful problem-solver that can navigate the GE Vernova resource databases and organizations to deliver a solution, with urgency
• Not afraid of being uncomfortable with the specific technical problem and willingness to apply engineering problem-solving methods to resolve the issue, under pressure
• Ability to communicate at all levels (field engineers, site engineers, plant managers, GE Vernova leadership, etc.)
• Ability to rapidly change directions for multiple concurrent projects based on emergent business priorities
• Humble, open, collaborative, and continuously learning
• Strong oral and written communication in Arabic language
