Testing & Commissioning for FAT & SAT, Technical Training, Technical Support with focus on Customer satisfaction and respect of Budget and Milestones.

Roles and Responsibilities

• The role of the Telecom Engineer is, under the CIC Engineering Manager responsibility, to design and deliver technical packages of Telecom Systems projects up to completion (design / optimisation / customisation / Purchase preparation / integration / Design Office
• Support / Technical SAT &FAT, Technical Training, Technical Support to Customer with focus on Customer satisfaction and respect of Budget and Milestones.
• Provide client acceptance of the work completed by GEV during detailed design, manufacturing and configuration, Factory Acceptance Tests , the Site Acceptance Test and providing technical training to clients.
• He/She also participates to tender if required, in charge of the solution design and man-days estimate.

Required Qualifications

•  Bachelor Degree in Telecom / Electronics engineering or equivalent
• Have minimum 5 years experience in Telecommunication system ( it prefer in power utilities )
• Business understanding (market knowledge in area of work, intl. exposure & awareness)
• Good knowledge of Optical Equipment Systems ( SDH , PDH , Multiplexer , NMS, DWDM , MPLS-TP etc )
• Good knowledge of Power Line Carrier ,Teleprotection, Packet Network (Switch and Router ), Radio system and PABX systems.

Desired Characteristics

• Good oral and written communication skills, plan and execute the program . 
• Good experience in Telecom Systems Design and Commissioning : SDH/PDH MUX, PLC, TP , PABX , Radio System ,Packet Network .
• Telecom equipments testing knowledge, step by step of test procedure , trouble shooting, familiar with telecom test tools : level generator, selective level meter , BER-Test, OTDR, Optical power meter, Spectrum Analyzer , etc.
• Capable to perform technical presentation to the customer and technical training.
