Description:
The Senior Image Quality Engineer has design responsibility to deliver image quality relative algorithm and feature design for medical devices (including CT, DR, DSA, PET) as well as the trouble shooting results for cross function design. He/She need to lead the practical design, new technology investigation and integration, the platform concept definition, and the verification/validation.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Developing analysis methods and models to quantify subsystem interactions and their effects on image quality. Work with cross function team to find design solution to improve/ensure imaging performance.
• Developing image quality enhance algorithms and features including calibration, correction, reconstruction, post-processing etc to improve product competitiveness.
• Developing algorithm to enhance the workflow for easy-use and diagnosis assisting.
• Collaborate with system to understand the needs for image quality and evaluate image quality, new features, and technologies.
• Support requirements traceability, design process and subsystem verification activities
• Support MFG to define correction and calibration process, support IB and service team to resolve IQ related complaints and improve customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Nuclear physics, Biomedical Engineering, X-Ray Imaging, Image Processing, or closely related discipline 5+ years relevant working experience Good experience and design skill in image processing, signal processing and mathematical modeling. Proven ability to develop timely and effective solutions for challenging design problems Rich experience of using Matlab and Phyton for algorithm implementation and simulation. Excellent teamwork, coordination, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Design experience in medical imaging devices, especially in CT Effective oral and written English communication skills, global project experience will be plus. Self-starter, energizing, results oriented, and able to multi-task
