Job Description Summary

Activities contributing to the design and development of software, solutions and systems for radio pharmacy cyclotrons. Includes activities linked to technical improvement and maintenance of existing software.
You will be responsible for workload planning and distribution, setting out the strategy for new software development, with an emphasis on Artificial Intelligence adoption. You will manage the team of 3-4 direct reports and take responsible for day-to-day coaching and team development

Job Description

Leadership

Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking and software development experience to execute long- and short-term software initiatives.

Product care

Software development

· Work with product managers and engineering colleagues to understand product requirements & vision, and with the team develop multi generation software technology plans.

· Translate requirements/vision into prioritized backlog, facilitating discussions around timelines vs scope/quality and resources.

· Leads projects with resource requirements. Defines achievable goals that the team can have joint consensus around, acting as inspiring challenges. Conveys performance expectations to team and stakeholders.

· Participate in agile development with flexibility to cover several roles such as scrum master, architect, developer and development environment responsible.

Strategic development

· Leveraging product and technology reuse. Strive to develop platformed solutions and product parts that are reused across the product portfolio.

· Continuously work for improving software processes and tools to increase efficiency and software release frequency.

· Demonstrates awareness about competitors and industry trends.

· Has the ability to analyse the impact of technology choices.

Engineering work

· Actively participate in engineering management team and drive increased efficiency across teams both within engineering and towards supply chain and service departments.

Technology

· Experience with C#.NET development and desired experience with WPF, SignalR and grpc/Protobuf.

· Experience with databases and development using SQL and desired experience Entity Framework and MS SQL Server.

· Experience with networking and TCP/IP communication.

· Experience with linux and C development and with desired experience with WSL.

· Experience with integrations to embedded systems and controlling hardware.

· Experience with integrations to company cloud services such as license requests and remote connectivity.

· Experience with CM tools and desired experience with git and svn.

· Experience with build servers, test-driven development and continuous builds and with desired experience with TeamCity, NUnit and Moq.

· Experience with REST and web services.

· Desired experience with Blazor.

· Experience with installation tools and desired experience with Wix.

· Experience with securing applications from cybersecurity threats and desired experience with GE’s process of ensuring this (DEPS).

· Interest in latest software development technologies and infrastructure.

Education Qualification

· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with advanced experience.

Desired Characteristics

· Master's Degree/ PHD in Computer Science.

· Experience with Windows and Linux based software development.

· Experience with C#.NET and C/C++ development.

· Certified Scrum Master
