About this role:
Software Development position responsible for design, implementation, and support of applications to help fulfill our Research & Consulting Delivery strategy.
What you’ll do:
- Demonstrate a deep knowledge of and ability to operationalize, leading data technologies and best practices.
- Establish new data engineering capabilities for standalone data-driven products and service.
- Contribute to the review and analysis of business requirements.
- Document & review detailed technical design & architecture
- Perform and participate in code reviews, peer inspections and technical design/specifications.
- Be able to work in teams and collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements.
- Be able to innovate and showcase new approaches to improve efficiency.
- Be able to work in a globally distributed team in an Agile/Scrum approach.
What you’ll need:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience in the field of software development.5 - 7 years’ experience as a data engineering professional with exposure to foundational ML concepts and strong track record of developing data-based products using Azure
Must Have
- Proficient in Unity Catalog, Spark and Azure Databricks for data engineering use cases.
- Data Engineering Stack (ADLS, ADF, Azure Databricks, Azure Functions), Python libraries.
- Proficient in Python programming and extensive knowledge of libraries like Flask/FastAPI, Pandas, NumPy
- Proficient in SQL on relational databases (MySQL/Postgres/SQL Server)
- Strong understanding of ML Concepts & NLP. Proficiency with scikit-learn, spaCy etc.
