Software Engineer (2-4 yrs of experience in Core Java, SQL & GIT/Jenkins Requires)

About the role

Software Development position responsible for design, implementation, and support of Java/JEE based web applications to help fulfill our Sales & Service Delivery strategy.

What you will do

• Collaborate with leads to explore existing systems, determine areas of opportunities.

• Build and deliver Spring Boot/Batch applications integrating with various databases, AWS Services and REST APIs.

• Work with Open-source technologies and applications using Java technology in a fast paced Agile/Scrum environment.

• Follow coding standards, build appropriate unit tests, integration tests and deployment scripts and review project artifacts created by peers.

• Translate designs and style guides provided by the Design team into functional user interfaces, ensuring cross browser compatibility and performance.

• Contribute to continual improvement by suggesting improvements to user interface, software architecture or new technologies.

What you will need

Strong IT professional with 2- 4yrs of experience in software development using Java technology. The candidate should have strong qualitative and quantitative problem-solving skills along with high ownership and accountability.

Must have

• 2+ yrs of relevant experience in Core Java using J2EE, Spring Boot/Batch frameworks.

• Experience working with relational database technologies like SQL Server, Oracle etc.

• Experience working with consumption/creation of Restful APIs

• Strong understanding of OOPS, Design principles and Distributed systems.

• Good understanding of security best practices.

Good to have

• Experience in React or cloud platforms like AWS/Azure is good to have.

• Experience working with Jenkins and Git or similar automation/repository management tools.

Who you are

• Graduate/Postgraduate in BE/BTech, ME/MTech or MCA is preferred.

• Excellent communication and prioritization skills.

• Able to work independently or within a team proactively in a fast-paced AGILE-SCRUM environment.

• Owns success – Takes responsibility for successful delivery of the solutions.

• Strong desire to improve upon their skills in software development, frameworks, and technologies.
