Role & Responsibilities:  

Working within the Business Operations & Strategy (BOS) function, you support internal teams in driving data-driven decision making and process improvement across Gartner’s Research Engagement Services’ (RES) top strategic priorities.  

You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, utilizing data and analytics to test hypotheses and shape the direction of workstreams. Your ability to be proactive, agile, adaptable, and an excellent communicator will be essential in achieving targeted outcomes and driving innovation. 

  • Utilize data and analytics from Business Intelligence software (e.g. PowerBI) to generate insights and partner effectively with other partners (including Program Managers) to support both workstream and Operational objectives. 

  • Ensuring that project health and timelines are monitored for successful delivery. 

  • Using data, proactively identify areas for improvement and optimization. 

  • Effectively communicate findings to shape the strategic direction of the workstream, in conjunction with the Program Managers. 

  • Work closely with stakeholders across teams to ensure alignment on objectives, key results, and process implications. 

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the BOS team by documenting best practices. 

  • Stay updated with industry trends and continuously grow your skill set in operational excellence and process improvement methodologies. 

  • Communicating and building relationships with stakeholders like business owners and IT teams. 

  • Supporting change management and business readiness efforts. 

 

Requirements: 

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree or higher. 

  • Experience: 

  • 3-5 years of business experience with increasing responsibility in a fast-paced work environment. 

  • Experience in using Business Intelligence software (such as PowerBI) 

  • Experience collaborating with cross functional technical teams such Problem Managers, IT Program Managers

  • Strong business operations and project management abilities. 

  • Analytical, organizational, and IT literacy skills. 

  • Numeracy, initiative, problem-solving, and attention to detail. 

  • Client service, communication, and change management skills.

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 62,000 USD - 87,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Our talent acquisition team will provide the specific opportunity on our bonus or incentive programs to eligible candidates. We also offer market leading benefit programs including generous PTO, a 401k match up to $7,200 per year, the opportunity to purchase company stock at a discount, and more.
