Join our team as an ME Engineer!

 

What you'll do:

  • Drive OEE and RTY improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and operational performance.
  • Coordinate the installation, commissioning, and upgrade of manufacturing equipment.
  • Organize and support training activities for Production and Maintenance teams on new equipment and products.
  • Define and optimize process flows and equipment layouts for production lines.
  • Participate in customer incident investigations and work closely with the Quality team to reduce PPM levels.
  • Support New Product Introduction activities to ensure successful product launches.
  • Collaborate with Maintenance teams to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
  • Develop and implement error-proofing solutions in partnership with the Quality department.
  • Define, maintain, and communicate tooling lists related to critical process parameters.
  • Create, update, and maintain equipment documentation, work instructions, and technical standards.
  • Lead Kaizen projects and continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.
  • Promote best practices and drive process standardization to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Participate in internal audits and support compliance with company standards.
  • Conduct Gemba Walks, 5S audits, and SOS audits to ensure operational excellence and workplace organization.
     

What we need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the automotive industry or a similar manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and production operations.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering specifications, process documentation, and testing instructions.
  • Proven problem-solving and analytical skills, with experience in data analysis, root cause identification, implementation of corrective actions, and process improvement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across different functions and organizational levels.
  • A proactive mindset and a passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification is considered an advantage.
