Garrett Engineering Internship – Operational Excellence
Location: BRNO, BRNO MĚSTO, Czech Republic; Hybrid
About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Engineering Intern to join our Engineering Operational excellence team. This role is ideal for students who want hands on experience in a fast paced, technical environment and are eager to learn how engineering supports daily operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- support the engineering operations team in day‑to‑day activities
- assist with data collection, analysis, and reporting related to Engineering process performance and distribute management reports
- prepare and present data in the right form (dashboard and other visualizations like graphs, tables) for decision-making and problem solving
- support technical report generation, documentation and progress reporting
- provide support to digital process improvement, existing engineering tools enhancements requirement gathering, collaborating with cross functional IT team for development
- perform basic administrative and technical tasks as needed
Requirements
- currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related Engineering field and business management
- comfortable using MS Excel, PowerPoint, and basic data analysis tools
- knowledge of Data visualization tools PowerBI or equivalent
- communication skills in both written and spoken English
- strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- proactive tasks approach, Self-motivated and enthusiastic
- basic understanding of engineering fundamentals
- willingness to learn, take initiative, and contribute to a technical team environment
